U.S. broiler exports for the first three quarters of 2022 reached an all-time high in volume and value, according to new trade data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
In the first nine months of the year, chicken shipments reached 2,815,978 tons, up 5% when compared to the same period of last year. Exports value reached USD 3.96 billion, up 20.6%.
Of the total shipment, 57.4%, or 1,616,165 tons, were shipped to the top six markets to the American products, namely China, Mexico, Cuba, Taiwan, Philippines, and Canada.
